CH Sanspelo Chanel of Nudedudes  

Our Nellie, the cat that got away, then came back, LOL. Chanel was a rescue cat  that I found the most wonderful home for, only to be reunited with me and her owner some four years later.

Chanel belonged to my partner Michael you could say that she was never really destined to leave me, despite my best efforts she refused to stay away and ended up bringing her family along  too. Chanel is the oldest girl in our cattery at 11 years young she is still super fit and will give anyone a run for their money in this house. Thank you Chanel, for uniting me with your Dad. Chanel will stay with us here at Nudedudes as will all our beloved neuters.

Our Nellie, Nel, Nelgella Dibley, Dibbles, Doodlebug, OUR NELLIE BEAR. Cat of a thousand names, we will miss you so much.

Nel died peacefully today, aged almost 12 years.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again.

No one knows how much we will miss you, I hope that you do, I hope you know how very dearly you were loved Nel, you were such an ambassador for your breed. You took everything in your stride, being kind to every cat in this house. You were simply a kind cat Nel not a bad bone in your body, what will Abby do without you. You two were like old soul mates, one could never be found without the other.

Nel came to me almost 7 years ago from a rescue situation, I was blessed to have her in my life. Almost three years ago despite me finding her a wonderful pet home she came back to me, along with the rest of her family. I am grateful for every single second I have had with you Nellie. Because of you I met your Dad, I owe you so very much. I will never owe a cat so much as I owe you.

Sleep well my love, the bridge today has gained a true angel and we are far poorer without you. Go play with the birds and the butterflies, fly Nel be young and whole again, sit with my Granddad and tell him i miss him so, he will take care of you until we meet again over the bridge, FAREWELL NELLIE, there are no goodbyes, XXXX
