E-Szandor Lavey left this life to play with the rainbows on
Friday the 5th March 2010 aged almost 16 years.

Szandor's owners would like to extend a huge thank you to Gerry Reid and Gary Owen for allowing Szandor to be loved by them in the twilight years of his life.

Nudedudes salutes a beautiful old gentleman, we have no less than five generations of offspring from such a wonderful cat living in our home. Szandor you may be gone but you will never be forgotten and your legacy LIVES ON!!!! Thank you Szandor!!!!

Our Nellie, Nel, Nelgella Dibley, Dibbles, Doodlebug, OUR NELLIE BEAR. Cat of a thousand names, we will miss you so much.

Nel died peacefully today, aged almost 12 years.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again.

No one knows how much we will miss you, I hope that you do, I hope you know how very dearly you were loved Nel, you were such an ambassador for your breed. You took everything in your stride, being kind to every cat in this house. You were simply a kind cat Nel not a bad bone in your body, what will Abby do without you. You two were like old soul mates, one could never be found without the other.

Nel came to me almost 7 years ago from a rescue situation, I was blessed to have her in my life. Almost three years ago despite me finding her a wonderful pet home she came back to me, along with the rest of her family. I am grateful for every single second I have had with you Nellie. Because of you I met your Dad, I owe you so very much. I will never owe a cat so much as I owe you.

Sleep well my love, the bridge today has gained a true angel and we are far poorer without you. Go play with the birds and the butterflies, fly Nel be young and whole again, sit with my Granddad and tell him i miss him so, he will take care of you until we meet again over the bridge, FAREWELL NELLIE, there are no goodbyes, XXXX

 

Nudedudes™ is a small cattery located in Lincolnshire, UK. We are registered with Felis Britannica and The International Cat Association (TICA)

We specialise in producing top quality Sphynx kittens of superior European Champion, Grand Championship, International Championship and Championship lineage.

We have shown our cats within TICA since it’s UK launch in 2004. We are proud to own cats of Supreme Grand Championship lineage. This is the highest title within TICA. We are currently the very proud owners of the two top titled Sphynx cats within the UK.

Pharocrest Aszand Osiris became the first ever Fife European Champion Male Sphynx in June of 2004, our Bald N Beautiful Jen-Isis became the first ever European Champion female Sphynx in January of 2006 and also gained the title of TICA Supreme Grand Champion in February of 2006, the first Sphynx cat to achieve this title in the UK.

Isis has since been neutered and now also holds the title of Supreme Grand Champion Alter, the only cat of any breed to hold both these titles within the UK.

Their son Nudedudes Jay-Jay became the first ever Sphynx cat to hold the title of TICA Supreme Grand Champion Alter.

Alongside Nudedudes Picos Blue these are the only three sphynx cats to hold the coveted title of European Champion within the UK.

Our goal is to continue working with Sphynx breeders to help maintain and improve the breed, and to educate others about this incredible breed of cat. We breed for quality, never quantity and the health, happiness, and maintaining the integrity of the breed is paramount to us.  All our cats and kittens are part of our very much loved family and are treated as such. None of our cats are caged, and are allowed to run freely within our home. Our cats sleep in our beds and are brought up from birth to be afraid of nothing, including our dogs.

Until very recently the Sphynx was the only breed of cat that we owned however, we will be eternally grateful to Michelle Berge from the Belfry cattery in California for giving us the honour of being the first breeders outside of the USA to own a pair of Kohanas, of which there are only 22 in the world.

We do have a limited number of Sphynx kittens sometimes available but there is generally a waiting list. Like all good things in life sometimes it is better to wait. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have about either the Sphynx or our Kohana's or both. I will always be on the end of a phone or in person to help you and never get tired of talking about these incredible breeds.

I am deeply indebted to Gerry Reid and Gary Owen the breeders of my beautiful stud cat European Champion Pharocrest Aszand Osiris, without who's trust and help none of this would have been possible I will be forever grateful to them for having faith in me. To Jennifer Vallandigham of Bastetsphynx for my two beautiful American boys she has been my guide and rock and an absolute marvel, though we are miles apart we are never far away in heart from each other, and I miss each and every day that I am not with her. Words will never express how grateful we are to Michelle Berge, our Kohanas are the apple of our eye and we are so privileged to have them with us. To Sheila for all your wonderful work on this site and for everything else in-between, you are a great friend. Not forgetting all my friends within the Cat fancy you all know who you are THANK YOU! I will never forget the things you have done for me.

But my BIGGEST thank-you goes to my cats, they are just incredible. They are an absolute dream to own and show, but above all they are members of my family and I love them very, very much.
